| Robin is truly a "Guardian Angel," She watches over them with sincere interest and devotion. I adopted a dog that she was assisting the owner in trying to find her a new home. The owner had already tried the animal shelters but they were full; she had to find a new home as soon as possible. She made up flyers, contacted people and set out to find her an excellent home. Robin doesn`t believe in just good, but to find the best home. "Animals and their owners must be totally compatible in order for the relationship to last until death. I believe that so many peoples select animals off of a basis that doesn't last and when things change (as it grows up), the pet and owner are in direct conflict. Owners and pets must be compatible on several areas. That is what I look for when consulting in a pet adoption or purchase, stated Robin." During a Kansas Speedway race weekend in September of 2001, my husband and I met Robin while she was taking care of this dog. After several conversations and meeting our three dogs, she made arrangements for us to spend more time with the dog in need. Needless to say we went back to Tennessee with four dogs not three. She even brought her a travel sack for her trip home with us that consisted of treats and some toys. We keep in touch with Robin by phone and e-mail, and thank her for bringing another lifetime friend into our home. We are looking forward to a reunion visit when we make the trip back to Kansas City for the September Race. |
